Week 5 English 4. This week we will be working on our college admissions essay. The main question colleges are asking about you is this: "Who is this person, and why would we want him or her to join this community?" We will be brainstorming ideas on how to show a potential college your life has significance and you will find ways to show them what makes you an interesting individual.
The 250-500 word essay will be due Friday, September 21st. This will be your polished final draft. It is something you could use for the Common Application.
