This week we are working on rhetorical devices of speeches. We have already read portions of JFK's inaugural speech and looked at definitions of the devices used in his speech. We will be comparing Mitt Romney's and Barack Obama's convention speeches and you will be preparing your own speech to be given to the class on Friday. The rubric for the speech is attached below. Keep your speech under 5 minutes. Be creative and use your vocabulary lists to improve the diction and syntax of your speech.
