Week 2: This week we are continuing our work on rhetorical analysis using four separate texts based on the death of Princess Diana. We are using the Rhetorical Triangle and the rhetorical strategies of Pathos, Logos and Ethos to understand how four completely different texts can convey or show a variety of meanings. Look for the powerpoint for the slide on the Rhetorical Triangle. On Friday a short essay analyzing the text is due. This assignment is worth 30 points.
