This week we are working on an essay by Octavio Paz called Hygiene and Repression. The essay will answer one of the three following

1. Select your favorite cuisine, and in an analytical essay explain why you prefer it to other cuisines.
2. Write an essay comparing any two cuisines. Be certain to link these two cuisines to the nations or cultures they illuminate.
3. Paz makes an implicit criticism of American Food in his essay. Write an argumentative essay in which you agree or disagree with his thougths on the subject.
